Tom Hoey, President and Founder

Founder Tom Hoey, a natural leader with great vision and imagination, is one of the main architects for the widely successful PistolStar product line. He also works closely with his core team to define the sales, marketing and product strategies that continue to drive PistolStar’s growth and success.

Altogether, Hoey possesses 25 years of experience as a software engineer. Prior to launching PistolStar, he was at Digital Equipment Corporation and Iris Associates developing core functionality found in lower-level operating systems and in Lotus Notes and Domino. He is known for his passionate and highly-motivated approach to solving problems for customers spanning a variety of industries.

Gregg Browinski, Chief Technology Officer

Browinski oversees PistolStar's product development and technical support. Prior to joining the company in 2001, he received extensive experience as a developer at IBM Lotus and Iris Associates. Browinski has served as the lead architect and developer for PistolStar's Password Power suite of authentication solutions. He is responsible for the product's technical success and the recognition it has received through award nominations.

Mark Cochran, Vice President of Sales

Cochran's responsibilities include managing the company's sales organization and facilitating its continued revenue generation and growth. Cochran brings over 12 years of technology sales and management experience to his current role at the company. Cochran joined PistolStar in 2002 as its Manager of North American Sales. Prior to joining the company, he held senior sales positions at Boise Technology and AAA Networks, where he was responsible for the development and retention of large accounts in New England and Metro Washington, DC regions. He is a certified IBM eBusiness Solutions Advisor and has received numerous sales awards and honors during his career.

Larry Conroy, Technical Support Engineer

Larry is a Technical Support/Developer here at PistolStar. With a Master's Degree in Computer Science, he worked for Raytheon, and then moved on to other corporations, such as Kronos, Axent, and Applied Microsystems. Over the last ten years Larry has specialized in improving and growing the support process, previously and within PistolStar Inc.
 

Kimberly Johnson, Marketing Associate

Kimberly is currently the Marketing Associate/Office Manager at PistolStar. She is responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns, aiding with sales efforts, and fulfilling the daily office requirements. Having recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire at Manchester in May of 2009 Kimberly is a new addition to the PistolStar team.
